I'm having to find a decent yard for some friends moving away up to North Nottingham

They have a few yards on their list to visit
1. Buckleep
2. Far Baulker
3. Abbeyfield

Has anyone onhere any experience of these yards please?

I have been on Buckleap a couple of times. I left there in March this year as it was too expensive for me, but the facilities are good.I believe its just undergone a makeover. I can answer any questions you have.

No idea on the others though x

thanks. They are look for a yard that does turn out for them, I suppose part livery.
Their horses are showjumpers so the staff have to be capable as sometimes they can be a handful :)

Sometimes perhaps ridden too? Do you know if they ride?

Don't know about their riding abilities, but visited Buckleap recently and it seemed a good sort of place, though certainly not the cheapest around. They have a jumping paddock and an allweather outdoor school.

I would definitely try buckleap first as its got great facilities and then abbeyfields, far baulker has a good school and excellent hacking to the woods but I'm not sure about having assistance there in the morning unless u got another livery to help turn out, other yard wise there's quarrybank also in newstead abbey like abbeyfields very nice yard and lindhurst which has a website if you google it
