Looking for a DIY Yard in new area.

Hello just wondered if anyone could be of any help, I might be moving to an area in Essex near Halstead/Braintree. And i'm having trouble finding any yards. Does anyone know of any? i am prepared to travel towards colchester but would rather somewhere in between.

Or do horsey people not exist around that area!!

Hi there, i will ask mum tomorrow morning if thats any help. She has moved there recently (and does have grazing/but uses her land for breaking in driving ponies) so doesnt do livery but she will know. She lives in felsted 10miles from Braintree... will PM you tomorrow if that helps?

im in sudbury which is about 8/9 miles from halstead, one of the yards i use would be about 12 miles and has places. give us a shout if its close enough. the yard has a nice sized floodlit rubber/sand menage and set of jumps,stables all undercover and some have there own backroom for your hay etc, horses are in at night and out during the day in there own paddock, although winter T/O is dependant on the weather, ie if its chucking it down they stay in. good offroad hacking. YO will turnout /feed etc if need be for a small fee. £25 a week and you could possibly keep lorry/trailer on site to .

Mum says there is a part livery yard in Braintree called great Slamseys Farm. They had 2 vacancies before xmas so may have one now. No is 077 873 464 28 (they have a website too which is www.greatslamseys.co.uk shes says livery as this timeof year is hard to come by. If you get really stuck she says she can put you up, but it would only be till May max as she has 3 new youngster in for starting... PM me if you get stuck.
