Looking for a loan pony...how to go about it

A friend of mine is looking for a nice sensible loan pony to do a bit of everything on. 14.2-15hh. She would like to take said pony to our yard but everyone seems to want their ponies to stay with them understandable.
Where wouuld be the best place to look and what is the best way to go about it? Ive never looked for a loan before just to buy so its all a bit new to me.

you could advertise in local tack shops/go veiw adverts in local tack shops and let your instructor/her instructor know (if she has one) to spread the word that someone is looking. That is how my friend went about finding one and she did

I'm looking for exact same thing and have looked everywhere....think they are in far to much demand!! we are even looking to buy now but dont have a huge budget that seems to be needed!!

look on all the usual websites horsequest horsemart etc, then theres websites more targeted for loaning if you google equineadverts and horsetoloan and she can advertise in the wanted section for free, keep an eye out at tackshops and put an ad up herself
