Looking for a ned for a friend...

I have a friend, lovely as you like, with nice grounds, lovely stables, and a pony and a horse already in residence

.

She's looking for a 14hh - 14.2hh pony for herself

. She'd like something as quiet as they come - she's an okay rider, just not brimming with confidence (though she does get professional help if she ever needs it). She'd like to hack about the local lanes with and without her daughter on her pony.

The preference is a good-doer who is happy living in a field next to the house, preferably not needing to be rugged (unless the weather is as bad as it has been recently!).

She's a lovely, lovely lady and I'd be so chuffed if we could find the right lad or lass for her - he or she would be guaranteed a lovely home

Honest, not for me! No mooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeee for me (at least not for now lol).

Friend is lovely and the ned would have such a good home. She'd go to a charity, but her hubby likes 'things' to be theirs (hope that comes across right!). She's tried a couple, but one had a hidden history of severe lami and the start of cateracts in both eyes

I know of a Bodey type (in fact could be Bodey’s brother) that is going up for sale, but isn’t yet. He is 5 years old and mainly been hunted (I know him from hunting). He has a lovely sensible head on his shoulders but is about 15hh and wide. I think they are going to ask £4500 for him. Do you think that would be too much for her?

Based near-ish to Derby. Would travel a reasonable distance, prob up to 100 miles.
