i've currently got the GPA classic, which isn't particularly comfortable - particularly the padding at the back as i find that i can't get my hair under it without leaving it loose.

does anyone know of anything similar without that bit at the back?
i'm not too familiar with brands like JTE, champion and charles owen - GPA was bought in dubai back when they were all the rage :p

My budget is around the £250 mark. As much as i would love a kep one, its just not economical if i have to replace it after every bad fall :rolleyes:

any help appreciated :D
 
i love my old dublin black velvet but it just isn't up to scratch compared to what everyone else has for BSJ tbh - that's what my navy GPA was for but it's getting to the stage where its becoming an issue.
it moves because of where it sits on top of my hair and tips the peak down so i cant really see where im going :p

i really really want a kep but i think £600 is too much for a hat unless you're ellen whitaker standard

does anyone have a PROtector?

I think your best bet is to go to a well stocked saddlery and try loads on. Once you try one on wear it around the shop for a bit to see if it causes any discomfort.

I desperately want a champion skull cap but as I'm in between sizes I don't find them very comfy, the only one that I find comfy for my head is an Onyx.
 
ooh thats not too heart-attack-inducing - wonder if my dad will get me one if I put my o/t towards it :rolleyes:

the PROtector one I looked at came in at £289 so that's not too much more. do you mind me asking where you got it from?
