Looking for a new neddy-where?

Hi there I don't have much funds for the initial purchase (£1000) after trying and failing to secure a loan with anything remotely suitable (and i aint picky) I was looking into buying an ex race horse. ( i have applied with all the rehoming centres I can think of but no one has got back to me (I may be being a tad impatient its only been 2 weeks) I wondered about going to a sale but I have no idea where they are and what risks are involved ie vetting etc. I've ridden/looked after ex racers before and I've been riding 20 odd years. I was wondering if anyone could give me any other info or has any other suggestions? Thanks xx

You can pick up ex-racehorses on the open market for little more than that price, and that way you get to try them first, so that may be worth a try.

they had lots of thoughbreds not long back

My friend has a nice Thoroughbred for loan if you're interested? He's 16.1 and good in most ways, just a bit wary of strangers and needs some work on his jumping. Pm me if he sounds like what you're looking for.
