The saddler came today and I'm now looking for a 2nd hand black 16 1/2 or 17" med/wide

Allbion K2 GP or
GFS Event or
Ideal International Event or
Falcon Event

if anyone in Herts/Essex has one looking for a new home?

Hi,

I am in Essex, and have a 16 black GP saddle. It is narrow, but flocking can be adjusted to be a medium. It was made especially for a TB type.

I'm selling my immaculate, hardly used Albion K2 GP. It's a medium, 17.5"
It's too wide for my TB, and was bought as we suspected he'd quickly fill out soon after getting him, but he hasn't changed in 11 months, so I need to sell it and I'll get narrower saddle. I've hardly used it as it never fitted him well, and it's been sitting in my house with its cover on. I'm in Herts too, so If you are very interested, I could pop round with it to see if it fits?

Just to mention, last week I wrote a post about this saddle, as my saddler wanted to charge me £300 to send it back to Albion to change the tree to make it narrower, so it fitted my TB better, but I decided against having it altered, and decided my best option would be to sell it myself, in its original, factory made condition.

Thanks but 16 would be too small and 17 1/2 too big! The saddler said he's quite hard to fit as he is short flat backed and I am tall so I need to stick to his suggestions. I think I really want the Ideal International Event as seen loads of positive feedback and there's one on our yard that I've tried and it's really comfy.
