Looking for a new showing bit...

Hi
I have a Sec D gelding, who I have always shown in a Swales but I find this is too strong for him; it's been a great bit for the big classes but I've been thinking of a Pelham?
Any advice please, he's not a puller or strong but can sometimes drop his head a bit too low...

pelham or a double. I also dont like rugby pelhams.

Swales are horrible tbh, and a driving bit anyway. I dont like to see them in the show ring.

What about a simple show Pelham? It has loose rings, and a small port to the mouthpiece.

Generally, you would start simple, but then try other bits if needed. If I were you, I would chat to the girls at The Bit Bank. They are very helpful.
