I am an older teenager looking for a part loan in or around my local area which is Wakefield. I rely on public transport and my own two feet for transport, however I am able to be driven places too but not frequently. I have been riding for 2 years in and out of a riding school. I can walk, trot (on the correct diagonals) canter and have also done some jumping. I am looking for a horse between 14-16hh, but bigger horses do not phase me at all. I weigh 10 stone so a smaller horse would have to be a stocky more cob type. I have no preference in type as I have ridden both TBs and Cob type horses and equally enjoy riding both. I am not a novice rider, but do not feel quite ready for the challenge of a green/newly broken horse; I am looking for a calm and sensible horse that I know will keep me safe, that being said I do not mind forward going rides. I am wanting to spend around £10-£18 a week, and I am wanting about 2 or 3 days, including possibly one day at the weekend, whichever is more convenient for the owner. In return I am also willing to do my fair share of the hard work, however as I am a student I am unable to ride or turn out in the mornings. I am willing to do all stable duties that need doing, as well as helping out doing anything else that you may need, I am dedicated and willing to please, and will do anything that is asked of me. In a part loan horse I am looking for a horse that I am able to school-A paddock or arena is fine, as I have been used to riding in both. I would also like to be abe to hack out whether that be alone or in company, however I do not particularly feel safe with hacking out on roads, if I was able to get used to the horse then this may be an option in the future, but the prospect of being near open traffic scares me regardless of the animal. I have my own rider's insurance, as I am 15 years of age I know that this would be a requirement for most people looking for a loaner for their horse.
