after trying one pony and then her being not right, I then tried another pony who turned out to be absolutely perfect!!! he was a 4 year old 14.1 new forest gelding, good brakes and a bit more kick along than not, didn't look at jumps even when they got up to about 80cm, slow canter, only £1000. Any way we were all set to buy him but were told someone was coming to look at him the next morning. we asked for another ride the next day before buying him just incase he was different. unfortunately we couldn't go before 5pm and so we asked if she could reserve him until then. next thing i know at 1pm i get a text saying sorry i sold him. Long story short I was devastated at having lost my perfect pony. I am now therefore back on the hunt for a pony and I was wondering if anyone knows of anything similar. I'm not looking for perfect match but something of similar size (not below 14hh) and price and not too much older (up to 9). mare or gelding fine. in kent or as close to as poss.
thanks I have looked through all the websites i can think of (horsemart, horse and hound, pony mag, adhorse, etc) and haven't found much. any ponies you know of I would love to hear about!!
