looking for a puppy

Hi we are looking for a puppy to add to our family would like something smallish

Could anyone point me in the right direction would like a rescue but can't seem to find ay at the moment.

just looking down the page for Southern Eng theres a Staff xRotti, a JRT, 3 7 week terrier crosses etc plus lots of non pup young dogs.

Its where I found MontyDobiewithatail, but he was 2 so past training in his view! bless him he has sneaked on the bed and pushed the Border terrorist off with his snout

If you have a specific breed in mind, try contacting the breed rescue. At least in NYC, small dogs get snapped up much more quickly from the all-breed rescues, so you might find it easier going down the alternative route.

www.epupz.co.uk is also a good site to check for pups. Finding the right dog really is a case of being in the right place at the right time. Keep checking rescues as they have a very fast turnover. While I was looking for a dog I checked the larger local rescue every week, and it was VERY rare that I saw the same dog in there more than once. If you're looking for a specific breed then do a google search for breeders of them, if not then just check advert sites regularly. Something will come up eventually (I found my girl advertised on Fridayad).

I second using dogpages. There are so many dogs on there needing a forever home, you're bound to find the right one for you.

I have fostered three dogs so far for one of the rescues on there. Mine were a 5 month old collie cross, who was re-homed just before New Year, and today a beautiful and previously traumatised 2 year old collie / whippet cross and a terrier cross both went to their lovely new home.

I shall be collecting another two that need some re-habilitation and cuddles in the next few days.

we picked up a rescue pup on Sunday and there were 2 others there wanting homes. can pm you details if you like. they are in south wales. one was a collie x and the other a cocker spaniel. they haven't been advertised on-line yet.
