Ok I need your help!

It has beome apparent that we need to give Vardi at least 6 months slow ground work i.e. no ridden work. This is fine I have always said he gets a long as it takes to sort him out once an for all.

On the other hand I have got to the stage where I know if I don't start riding again on a regular basis I very probably will turn into one of those women who do lots of ground work but am too nervous to actually ride their horse. Plus I want to start riding Vardi as a Balanced fully riding muscled riding fit owner who is fully confident to give him the absolute best chance.

So I have made the big decision to get myself another horse initially for the purpose of getting my confidence back then when/if Vardi comes right the second horse will become OH's learning horse and my “I just fancy a fun blast today: horse.

I have been looking in Holland and in typical Dutch style the prices are ridiculous and the horse just do not appeal the only things I can find are silly priced tinkers (8K for a 10 year old ex brood mare!) Hafflingers and Fjords (I know they are up to weight but I am really not sure about riding something so small).

Ok here is where your help comes in. Does anyone have/want to sell the following;

Age: minimum of 8 years

Height: between 15 hh and 15.3 hh

Type: Good old fashioned Heavy weight Cob type,

At the moment I will fully admit that if said horse came complete with a set of rockers I would be delighted! All I want to do at the moment is spend a couple of months just plodding around the school and outside to get my confidence back. Then I know myself I will start to think “mmm could be lighter in the hand lets work on it” “a walk trot dressage test would be fun” “ fancy the beach/Forest today” You get the picture!

Said horse would have the life of riley, living out 24/7 in summer in a small herd of 4 (if a gelding) and 5 (if a mare), winter out 8 hours a day in sand paddocks/fields if dry enough and stabled at night, horse would have a home for life with a committed owner who always does the best for their horse and n fully accepts that they cost money! Farrier comes every 6 weeks without fail, horses always kept up to date with worming, teeth etc.

If I say I like the look of both Warrier and Ploughman on the Clip Clop Traders site you can get the idea of what I am looking for.
