I'm trying to find somewhere new for my quiet, well-mannered mare in the Colchester area. She just needs somewhere she can be turned out with other horses for as long as possible, ideally 24/7 in summer but not essential. A lit manege would be a bonus. I'm not having any luck finding a livery yard - are there any private yards out there that could help me out? I'm happy to provide what help I can around the yard. I can provide good references!

Not ideal Maz but I am currently renting 2 acres in Burnt Heath. I have fenced the area and have a stable/shelter and side room. Am still looking for my ideal horse so it is empty. Downside is no water or electric. Ideally looking for a permanent, laid back, stress free, happy to help sharer as I would like my horse to have company when I get him or her. My rent is very reasonable so am looking for £150 PA at present. There is no problem with erecting your own temporary shelter or adding a lean to onto my stable shelter. If you or anyone else is interested?

Hi thanks for message. I'm sorted at the moment but horses' rehab not progressing well so this could be something i'm interested in if i need to retire her. will certainly get back to you should that situation arise if you haven't already found anyone else by then. good luck with your horse search!
