Looking for a strong 30m longlead. Most I've seen are not good. Anyone any ideas where to get one.

If you can find a chandlers they sell ropes from the reel so you can specify the length. If they are a good one they might even be able to attach the hardware you need as well.

I rate Houndagrips for long lines but they only go up to 20m. 30m is a really unwieldy size.

Buy off the reel climbing rope and check out You Tube for instructions on how to attach the clip. 'How to whip end of rope' brings up a few options. B&Q sells nylon rope with various breaking strains.

2 lungeline clipped together. I have 15m ones for teaching recall (with a harness) when the boys were puppies.

I don't like lunge lines, I've found them too heavy and they take in a lot of water. I've also had them snap.

Yup, always biothane in wet/winter (the hexagrip kind) although I don't know anyone who makes those over 20m either.

I have a x xben training lead from Amazon, mine is shorter but they go up to 30m and quality is reasonable.

Pioneer Endurance do biothane long lines for dogs, right up to 40ft, but Zoe does do custom so might be able to make longer?

My spaniel has snapped 2x lunge lines hitting the end of them- the metalwork is usually cheap. Be careful with such a long line you don’t grab it without gloves! Nasty friction burns are possible…!
