I am looking for a suitable horse to compete in the 2016 RDA Regional Qualifiers in Grade IV.

The Horse needs to be at least 16hh and be schooling at an Elementary level at a minimum, preferably Medium, however I can train the horse to that level if required.

If possible I would like to move the Horse to the Arrow Riding Centre in Dartford to continue its training, however if this is not possible then the horse needs to be stabled in the Dartford area.

If you think you know of a suitable horse please message me, also if you wish to know more information about me then message me as well.

I am a serious rider, looking to compete so no time wasters please.

Good luck with your search :)

May I just say that your post comes across as quite officious, which I am sure you did not intend, so you might want to reword it a little :)

I'm not sure what's officious about your post, it sounds like you're what it says on the tin, straightforward and no waffle. Good luck with your search.

I'd just comment that if you expect to get a sound competitive horse for lian then the tone could be modified slightly to say what you could offer the horse and owner in return. It's generally a two way thing and free dressage horses don't grow on trees.

This, really. A horse that can do your job will be worth a fair few £££s, so any potential loaner needs to warm to you on first approach, so maybe sell yourself better. The 'no time wasters' bit often gets up people's noses for a start.

Having said all that, I wish you well with the search.

I never mentioned not paying and that will be discussed with the horse owner, as for what I can offer an owner is the chance to have their horse trained in classical dressage for competitive use. As well as the ability for their horse to compete in para dressage where the training is more consistent as Regionals are the Qualifiers for Nationals which is the biggest para event, in terms of size, in the world currently.

An advert on the BD site might help. I would think an older horse competing at advanced who needs to slow down a little might do the job for the OP.

However owners of treasured and successful horses, willing to loan/lease might be few and far between. I have one, retired now, but I rarely let anyone else look after him as he is so special to me.

Good luck in your search but I think you may struggle.
