Looking for a very lightweight cooler/sweat rug/sheet for comps.

Hoping the shopping addicted can help me! I'm looking for a white/light coloured light weight sheet for shows. Something that b can wear on hot days to stay clean in the box, and act as a sweat rug/light cooler. But I'm trying to find one in white.

What I REALLY want is my old coolmasta which was white with the red and navy stripes. Alas, it shrunk in the wash and at full stretch is was VERY unflattering so was sold years ago. I felt really cool going to shows in that, but they only come in navy or lilac now.

I am showing my age now, but these old fashioned rugs were fabulous and did the job perfectly. I hate fleece coolers with a passion.

I just bought a funnel lightweight waffle cooler which promised to be white and navy, but its actually moochty yellow But it's quite a nice weight and was half price, so I may keep it for the yard.

Please anyone??

Not completely what you want in terms of colour, but I got a red one of these for my horse because I was fed up of all his white hairs sticking to the fleecy types.

ETA Sorry I just realised that you already had had a coolmasta - mine hasn't shrunk and I have washed it a few times, but only on 30 degrees.

I have something like this that I use in the stable with my itchy horse, mine is not weatherbeeta its a make called "Everest" and I paid £20 for the combo version and they do one without a neck for £15 I think. It is white with a turquoise binding and check so not exactly what you want but similar maybe?

Try Teviot Equine. I discovered their stand one year at Blair and bought two old fashioned type sweat rugs and they are brilliant. They don't have a picture of what I bought online but maybe worth a query as they make a lot of rugs for racing/grand national etc...

I have a thermatex summer weight cooler I use for shows (its nothing like a proper thermatex more nice jersey type material) which they can make up in any colour you like. Mines navy blue though - not sure I could cope with stains and marks on a light coloured one!
