Hello
I am about to start loaning a horse who's kept at Hargate Equestrian Centre, however I do not know anyone there (yet!).
I'd like someone to hack out with as, although the horse is good to hack out alone, I am new to her and would feel more comfortable with someone else there at the beginning. I also only know where the old railway path is that leads out of Hargate, and would love for someone to show me how to get to the other bridle paths and where to go for a canter/gallop
As well as hacking it would be good to school with someone every now and then, and maybe share semi private lessons with every fortnight/month.
Ultimately I'm looking for some horsey friends to learn from and have fun with!
A bit about me - I am 26 and work as an engineer for a consultancy in Derby. I've been riding since I was 10 but had a break over university due to limited funds! I started private/semi private lessons again ~3 times a month 4 years ago. I have done a bit of dressage (intro and prelim) but sadly lack confidence during the tests. My real love is jumping / cross country. Hopefully I'll be able to get my dressage confidence back with this new horse as her owner has done lots of tests with her. I am looking forward to riding much more this year!
Looking forward to meeting some new people
