Im trying to find two horses i sold many years ago, id really like your help guys, if possible...Firstly there is 'Cleo' 16.3 thoroughbred mare, very dark bay, she has two hind socks .one just above the fetlock, one just below.She had a coronet sock on one front leg too. Cleo also had a long star, a snip and a small white stripe on her noseband area, high withered and snaffle mouthed. I sold her to a lady called 'Marina' who lived in the Isle of wight. She owned a couple of other horses, one being an oldish grey mare, if i remember rightly. Cleo had been out on loan by myself as i was pregnant and i took her back in a terrible state, her feet had become very flat and she had a swollen hock that had a chip removed and was flushed out, but it was still swollen, underweight etc... She moved nicely and was very well schooled. Prior to me having her she was in Isle of wight with her previous owner Alison and had done ODE etc with a chap whom was gay. This is how Marina knew of Cleo and wanted to buy her, when i put her up for sale. I sold her with a Thoroughbred passport (i cant remember any details, other than she was bred in Ireland and never raced) in/around 2003, she was 8/9yrs old. Secondly is...
'Canctonbury Caryth' known as Carrie. Registered welsh sec a x dark bay mare approx 12-12.2hh chunky mare,but no feathers, she would have been 3/4yrs old, The only white she had on her was a very small white patch on her coronet band on one hind leg, again sold 2003/2004. She was sold to a Nicky/Carol at the Cowley Drive field ,Woodingdean,Brighton,East Sussex... for Nicky's daughter, however they broke her and sold her on. I know she stayed local and ended up in a field near brighton racecourse...Last i heard of her is that she had a leg problem and needed atleast a year off, so was sadly passed on. She had the most wonderful temperament and loved people. Id had her since she was 3 months old and a complete mess, she blossomed into a beautiful pony. I do have pics of both, but dont know how to upload them ! I would love any news on either one of them, good or bad... Does anyone know them ?
