I'm looking for DIY livery or a field to rent for a gelding in the St. Albans area. Horse is retired so don't need too much in the way of facilities. He wants a quiet life so ideally not turned out in a big group or lively field companions.
Currently living out and happy to as long as some shelter and not too muddy, or can come in at night. Consider anything from a small livery yard to sole use field. Experienced owner happy to help with other horses.

Hiya, yes I look on there and a couple of other pages regularly and have posted on Facebook too. I've seen a few things pop up but they're always gone before I even get over to see them. Apparenty like unicorn poo round here!

I know a friend has been looking as her summer turnout ends next week she can't find anything, she is bringing one of her horses to mine temporarily as her other pony is in the yard next door to me, hopefully it will sort her out for a bit until one comes up there.

They sometimes have stables at West end farm in Wheathampstead and a friend mentioned there is a stable free at pound farm in Sandridge I don't know what the turnout situation is there though.
