Hi,

I am moving to Deepcut in Camberley & need to find somewhere for my horse, but I don't know the area for yards as I currently live in Reading. I have a 22r old 15.2hh welsh x thoroughbred gelding. Ideally want a small quiet yard with a school & good hacking, either DIY or assisted DIY & would like the option of 24 hour turnout in the summer but this isn't essential. Can anyone suggest or recommend anywhere?

Thanks

Vicki

I used to live in the area.

I don't know of any yards in Deepcut, but there are several in Yateley that do DIY Livery, and that isn't too far from Deepcut.

There is a big yard called Cottage Farm (you can Google this one), which had a smaller one next door. I was at the smaller one for a while, both had nice grazing and pretty good hacking. They are both in hacking distance to the show jumping comps at Hawley too.

This was 7 or 8 years ago though, so it could have all changed! Most places used to advertise at Rokers (opposite Merist Wood College) or The Eileen Douglas Tack Shop, on the Road into Wokingham from Bracknell. I know both are nowhere near Deepcut, but it seamed to be where the ads were!
