I'm moving to Norfolk in September and am looking to find a suitable livery for my young horse. I would be looking for part or more likely full livery to include some exercising/schooling in the week.

I am looking for most importantly a professional yard, preferably run by someone experienced and trustworthy which is good value (that doesn't mean cheap, just worth the money!) I would like some kind of arena, adequate hacking, roads is fine.

Also would need transport for hunting so preferably a yard where people are going themselves but am happy to prepare the horse for hunting. North Suffolk area may be fine to for the right place! Any ideas including price much appreciated. Small or large yards I'm not worried, the owner/manager is more important!

Any info would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi there - why don't you put a post on 'All Things Horsey - norfolk' on FaceBook. Most of the good yards are full but you may get some offers of this site.
It's so difficult to make personal recommendations but if you want some feedback after you've visited places please ask.:)

Many thanks monikirk. I have posted on "all things horse east Anglia" and got a few recommendations (lime kiln EC, Weston EC and a private yard) but thanks for your help. It's hard to know which groups all the Norfolk horsey people actually use but this one seems quite active!

Both all things horsey east anglia and all things horsey Norfolk are very active! Whereabouts in Norfolk are you looking at?
Another vote for lime kiln, alison's lovely and the yard is very well run!
