Hi all, apologies if i havent posted this in the right place :)

I am urgently looking for grazing in the Exeter area 6 acres is the minimum, stables would be nice but not necessary as my 2 gorgeous horses and 1adorable pony live out 24/7.

Does anyone know of anywhere or know someone that could help ???

I have tried looking on noticeboards, advertising on different websites and am not having any luck :(

Do you mind if it's on the outskirts of Exeter so like Bridford way? If so then contact Jhoward on here as there is a yard near there that may be coming up and also a place in Bridford with a good few acres and stables, I'm not sure if the owner is open to someone else up there but he may be. Jhoward has the contact details though!

Thank you for your replies, I am a regular at T&C and Mole avon and as yet nothing that is suitable/way over priced !

I am currently in the broadclyst area so would like somewhere round there, unfortunatly Bridford is a bit further than what I would like but Thank you.

I would even consider between exmouth and exeter :)

dont know of much that direction, try myjodsaretooblinkingtight .. her user name is something like that lol... she is in ottery area and may know of some where.

re bridford its no further to go than exmouth, straight up the m5/a30 takes about 25 minutes in total.

think gm meens my yard, im moving next week, 3 stables tack/feed area 8 acres of al year turnout, very good hacking area and there is help on hand wth the farmer if you get snowed out.

Wotcha hun!!! "Bonkers'" owner here!!!

Mmmm, Broadclyst area, will have to have a think.

OP's best bet might be to pop over to Town & Country supplies (Countrywide) place. Go tomorrow (Saturday) coz they've got a 20% reduction sale on; and see what's over there. I went over recently but can't remember what was on their noticeboard. You could always put a notice up saying your'e looking for livery and see what comes up.

There IS a yard called Hitts Barton which is basically a riding school which does livery as well which is near Whimple (near Broadclyst). I've never kept mine at livery there but personally after going to view a horse there I'd not make them my first choice (trying to be polite), PM me if you like.

OR you could contact the local hunt? (East Devon) - as someone may know somewhere? But think Town & Country may be your best port of call initially.

Ooooh, just thought, there IS a place quite near me in fact; its a bit of a "dressage" yard, near to Whimple at a place called Strete Raleigh, just off the old A30. I know they've got a fantastic arena, the woman running it is called Anthea somebody-or-other, is a dressage judge I think. Also, I know Natalie Santon had a yard out near Broadclyst forest, but the last time I tried to ring her I never got a reply. There's another place out on Venn Ottery common; sorry my brain just can't recall the name of it, but give me time and I will!!! Its a lovely place with some fantastic riding, but might be a tad pricey? (don't know, sorry).

Good luck.

If I hear of anywhere will let you know.

Thank you all for your suggestions and pm's. I am in the process of putting leaflets up on every gate post I can think of in the area !!

Ideally I am looking for a small private yard with all year turnout for just my 3, stables would b nice but not necessary, I would be willing to get a field shelter put up. As cheap as possible too, as i think everyone is saying at the mo.

I live between Exeter and Exmouth so ideally this is the area I am looking for.

I am taking a leaflet down to T&C this week to see if I have any luck.

Broadclyst/whimple is a nightmare at the mo due to the cranbrook development :( but then everyone I seem to spk too at the mo is having difficulty finding land wherever they are.

Just keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I find something :)

Hi everyone, Just moved to Bridford and am struggling to find a stable and small amount of grazing for my pony. Can anyone suggest anywhere please? Ive tried asking around but no luck so far :( Thanks all xx
