Hi all, I am currently looking for a horse which I can teach my novice OH to ride on and have been searching for over 3 months now. He can walk, trot and canter, but needs work on his hands and position and to be a generally "quieter" rider. It needs to be safe and sensible but still have enough "go" that he will be able to start some low level competitions when he gets confident enough in the future. Must be 15.2hh or bigger, 7-14yrs old, mare or gelding. I will probably start doing a few local comps with it in the new year too, but it will mostly be my OH's horse.

We have had several false starts on our search, but if anybody knows of anything or anywhere we can look I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Budget is up to 3500, but top of budget horses have to either be very special or including tack! We live in Oxfordshire, but have travelled to see horses before - but preferably in neighbouring counties.

That is indeed the sort of thing I am looking for....however I believe it is already sold as I think I have enquired about that one before! But yes to that type of horse

Oh yes he looks lovely - OH likes his greys too...although he can be the one to keep it clean haha! We will definitely call about that one.

Haven't come across that site before either - thanks Chaos!
