Looking for horse transport - short journey - Renfrewshire area!

I'm planning on moving my horse in a few weeks but am transport-less. Its only a relatively short journey (10 miles) and straightforward enough (about 20 minutes drive). I'm looking for either a local car/driver & trailer (big enough for 16.2hh) or small horsebox (think the road to the yard may be a bit tight for a big HGV!).

Happy to pay diesel & time costs and clean the trailer/horsebox afterwards. For a trailer I'd need a car & driver as no tow bar on my car but I am able to drive a small horsebox myself.

Any ideas please let me know! This is in the Renfrewshire / Inverclyde area.

Have you looked on the myrentalhorsebox website to see if there is anything available? I think there are a few on there in the renfrewshire area although it may work out quite expensive for a short trip as you normally have to hire for a full day or half day.

If you have facebook, go onto horsey stuff Renfrewshire. There are a few folk on there that would do it.

Hi Jingleballs just to let you know I managed to get transport from Meadowpark (Houston). Which was great as I was moving one horse from Houston to Greenock (about 10 miles).
