Hi all
I'm hoping to find out the where abouts of my old pony and how he is.
Max (C'est La Vie) is a 13.1h cremello gelding and would be approximately 23 years old now. Max and I teamed up via my riding instructor when I was 10 and he had not long turned 4. We competed all through juniors in Jersey, Channel Islands and he won pretty much everything we entered. An amazing pony who had the most fantastic jump for a small boy. We regularly beat the full up 14.2hs in JA and represented Jersey in Team Events throughout juniors.
Once I turned 16, Max was ridden by a friend of the family and together they were also very successful.
Sadly, after a couple of years, we had no suitable rider for Max and he was reluctantly sold to another local family. Unfortunately, the girl he was bought for couldn't handle him, and although at the time of the sale, it had been agreed that Max would stay local to Jersey in exchange for a lower price, they ignored this and sold him on to England. That would have been around 98/99 and unfortunately, I lost track of him at that point.
I believe he has been successfully competed by several young riders over the years.
If anyone knows of his whereabouts or how he is, I'd be thrilled to hear from you.
