Hi. I believe I now own Jacko.

I bought him off Charlotte in 2008. She was training as a Veterinary Equine Nurse in Gloucestershire then, but moved here from another County.

Do you have any photo's of him, and I'll confirm if it is him or not.

Thanks, ManceGirl :0)

Hi Mance Girl.
I think she was going to train as a vet nurse. My pics are all on an old base unit which I can't access, do you have any? He was always hard to get weight on, has alot of white round his eyes, hates having the clippers round his ears, goes back to trot with a voice command, jumps really well, was mainly white with a few patches of black. He gets REALLY strong if kept in for a few days, but is a lovely gentle boy. Charlotte was in Herts or Bucks I think? Very excited to hear how he is doing if it is him. Can't remember his bsja no, but his passport was issued by bsja. xx

He sounds similar in some ways... I'm thinking it must be him because only he can be registered with the BSJA under Jackanory. He doesn't have a BSJA Passport though...

He is an absolute jumping machine... nothing seems to be too big for him.
He is a very strong forward ride all the time, being in doesn't effect him at all. I can put complete Novices on him, and he never puts a foot wrong.

He is mainly white, and he doesn't like his ears brushed let alone clipped.
I've never had an issue with keeping weight on him. I think I joked before that I think he's crossed with a shire! He is an absolute jockeys dream, and I can't begin to describe how much I love him. He will end his days with me. He's helping me fulfil my dreams, as we are venturing into ODE's hoping to do some affiliated BE this year.
If he is your old steed, then he is extremely well, and very fit... I am the envy of many. Do you have any photo's of him at all that you could maybe scan and email to me?
I'd be interested to know how long you owned him? Where did you buy him? How old was he when you sold him to Charlotte?
Regards,
Arlene.
