So sorry if I have posted this in the wrong place

Putting feelers out and researching a little as potentially need to move my pony end of the summer. Looking to hear recommendations of smaller friendly yards. Ideally no massive yards of 30+ horses, minimal yard drama. Would prefer small herd turn out, 24/7 would be fab and a school would be a bonus with nice hacking. (Gold dust I know ?) Currently at an assisted diy which works well only looking elsewhere as owners are selling and who knows what will happen.

She is a recently backed nearly 5yr old little 13.2 mare, poos in one place in the stable.

She loves to people watch!
(She's the type of horse who would happily sit by the fire place in someone's house)

Ideally within 30mins of Leighton buzzard.

Happy to hear all options and opinions.

I don't think mine would be suitable, MK18 2EN ... I'll be renting for sole use, three acres with two stables and a tack room and a field shelter. A few yards of road to great hacking but no school, only hire options from neighbours (we are very horsey where I live)
You could try Dry Leys in Quainton or there is a yard in Waddesdon but I cant remember the name (it might be in my contacts!) If you PM me i can put you in touch with a couple of neighbours who might have space and schools.

There's a small private yard just SW of Linslade, with a school and decent turnout when the weather's good. Some fields for hacking nearby but lots of roadwork. Not sure about yard drama. Can PM you the YO's name if you want?

Thank you! I think they may be a little far for me. Will pmd you xx

This is an old thread. However, we find ourselves in the same situation. We have moved to the Leighton / Linsade area, and need a pasture for our two horses. We are currently keeping them in Whitchurch, which is too far away. Would be very interested in the DIY SW of Linslade?
