Has anyone seen Benson he is 15.2hh ex-racehorse, bay with a tiny star, he will now be 15 years old, i sold him 4 years ago, he had arthritis, he could be quite bolshy when not ridden. he was sold from suffolk and bought off henrietta kay who has now sadly died and she held all contact to my old horses and i just wanted to find out how he was because i saw him for sale early 2012 and i tried to contact them but they never replied. i would really like to know where he is as he got me eventing in the first place and i owe him so much.

please if anyone has seen him knows where he is i just want to know how he is...
though i did hear a rumor that he was put down but i'm really hoping it was a rumor. thank you

I was just doing a search of Benson to find out more about him when I came across this and I can help!
He's doing well at Copdock riding Centre where I'm 1/2 loaning him. He is used in the school and I've started to get him jumping again (which he gets so excited about!) and he loves going out on hacks. I'm sure if you give the owner Ann Withey a ring on 01473730678 she'll give you an update!

oh thank you so much, what wonderful news to hear hes jumping again! he truly loved jumping he was the one that gave me my confidence when i was 11! though at times he took advantage of my inexperience and on one occasion jumped into a pig field (silly duff) i will certainly get in contact with her thank you. i still can't believe that that this thread found him!
