Looking for Recommendations

Hello

So I currently have a 10yr old sport horse type gelding and am having a huge amount of trouble with him on ground as he is far to focused on other horses and he stresses himself to the point where he becomes dangerous to handle, most recently he has started to kick out at me and was quite close to fracturing my arm. I am looking for someone who I could send my boy away to in Scotland (preferably around in the Scottish Borders) as a final plea for help before I consider other options. Any recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance!

I think you might be better asking your question in the regional board. I've worked with HorseHelpUK (take a look on facebook) Matt really helped when my big lad was a bit forgetful of his manners on the ground. While Matt is based in Cheshire he does regular trips up to Scotland. He tends to do appointments rather than take the horse off site but it might be what you both need. You wouldn't want to send the horse away only for the behaviour to return once he comes back.

I'm only offering advice but remember, I'm miles away and can't see the problem, maybe have a chat with an instructor??
