Why why why the lack of rural properties to rent?

If anyone knows of anything, min two beds, preferably detached and in the middle of nowhere (antisocial!) do let me know!

Grazing nearby a huge bonus.

Max budget £700 pcm.

I've tried registering with agents and despite telling them what I want I get phonecalls from them telling me they have town centre flats available. Bloody useless!

Are there any estates (the big house plus thousands of acres and other properties type) near you that have property. Round here there are several big estates that rent out rural cottages at low rents for the area. My neighbour pays £750 for a 3 bed cottage with 1/4 acre garden when that is what a 2 bed on a housing estate costs. She has to upkeep the property and internally it's not ace but she has pets and kids and can basically treat it as hers. I know there are at least 3 estates near here like this. When my old neighbours moved to near Stratford they went to an estate and got another cottage the same way. Go straight to the estate office.

God, there really are none are there! This is the closest I found, but not in the middle of nowhere (Carlton nice though)

Hehe, we have one..2br on acres with stables and sheds...no immediate neighbours... FREE rent in return for a few hours a week chucking hay and playing with foals... but we are probably a LITTLE too far south for you too....
