I'm looking for livery for my 2 horses and their miniature companion within a 30 mile radius of Felixstowe. It's unusual in that myself and small dog tag along as well. I do come with American RV trailer so need somewhere which will take my trailer as well with electric and water hook up. I know highly unlikely to find a yard which will take all of us so close to a camp site or similar which I can use for residential use all year.

I've rented land for over 10 years but it's being turned back to agriculture so after spending around £20k on grazing, school, stables, water, waste and electric the whole lots going to be ploughed up so devastating move.

Obviously looking for long term. Anything considered, any ideas, advice welcome especially where to avoid as not been in a livery yard for years.

I think you are going to struggle UNLESS having you onsite is an advantage to someone.

For example, sometimes newly retired people want to travel the world for a year and just want someone to be onsite to keep an eye on the property/their animals, or a livery yard may want someone who is onsite if the owner isn't, etc.

Therefore, would just suggest doing heaps and heaps of notices along that line and putting them in local shops, etc as it isn't necessarily going to be a horsey person looking.

It is only ever going to work having a person living there is it is so use to the landowner, so be careful how you word the advert to make sure you point out you are happy to look after other dogs/horses/etc and see if that helps!

are you on facebook there are lots of livery type groups join them all also an advert on preloved and an advert in the local feed stores saddlerys. What a shame about your current place, how long do you have left there?

I know someone who is in the same situation as you and they have no problem finding places but there in shrewsbury. They found somewhere that was a riding place that offered camping and were able to take their accommodation there.

Thanks for replies. Have tryed Facebook, pre-loved etc etc with no replies as well as every camp site in area! All are holiday, retirement or full and most now closed for winter! Did find one yard but wanted over twice what a legit campsite charges for trailer. Also a couple of private yards but each 40 miles from work! Hoping to stay where am over winter now as refuse to just walk away from what I've invested plus if I can work my way through the 400 odd bales of hay, sell paddock equipment etc that I've got will be easier to move.
