Not stolen as such.
My pony Poppy, 13.2 New Forest mare, age 25 approx.
Put out on loan last year, permanent loan, retired but could be ridden.
This is difficult and I don't want to relate story here, but... via a friend, visited the new home, very happy with it and the lady who wanted Pops.
Took her down and settled her and was (am) happy that this was right for Pops.
Circumstances meant I couldn't go see her (I didn't have car and had only been driven there) However was kept informed via friend of how she was, and told when she injured herself in the field etc.
There was an agreement (really it was just to let me know how she was and when the time came to let her go to tell me)
Those circumstances.... friend has lost contact number and can't remember where she is, although could drive there (can't give me directions)
I have vague idea of area but without car obviously cant try an find, and even then could be driving round for days and days trying to recall the place.
Have heard that loaner been told I wasn't interested and loaner could claim her as her own.
but have been trying to locate (by p'ming random people here and other people) but it has been hard, especially as circumstances happen (sorry it's kinds secret squirrel really but do not want to post things)
Anyway, I know the lady was genuine, loved my Pops and she had home for rest of her life, the place was fab and I really have no qualms about it. i just really want to know how she is
and go and see her for a cuddle.
I put her there because at the time it was best thing for her, out of RS and as I say, I am happy she is there.
Area is Beds, around Clophill area (ish) Lady is called Annette and has other horses (TB's I think) and her own land.
If you know of her or have seen Pops, just want to know she is ok, chat to lady and put her right about things etc.
