A proven hunt horse for a livery of mine, anyone any ideas of where to go, am in the south and obviously already looking at classified ads but wondered if there are any dealers who specify in hunt horses?

Have you looked on hunt websites? there are 'horses for sale' on some of them. There was a few hunters in the Horse & hound magazine last week.

try horseselect - hunters / allrounders allways seem to have good ones

find out who does hirelings for your local hunt, they can usually be relied onb to have one for sale or know of some for sale

Polly at Chessington Equestrian Centre has a few hunters for sale. Contact Nat or Polly. She does hirelings for the Surrey Union, Sandhurst Drag and Crawley & Horsham,is a dealer and showjumper and there is a riding school at the yard. The yard is about 5 mins from Junction 9 on the M25
