Some of you might know that my Kevin has been poorly, one suggestion I've had from the vet is hind gut ulcers, so I have tracked down some pink mash and have ordered some supplements. The pink mash has been a huge success so far, it's necture of the gods apparently. Today Kev was showing off in the field and using me as a bending pole. I stood my ground ( not sure how sensible that was) while he lapped the field and charged right at me. I hope it's a good sign. :)

He does look well and happy - did you find he was less enthusiastic in the field before this? When my little charity mare had ulcers (and we then went down the hind gut issue route) she was def subdued almost depressed and didn't perk up fully for some time (and a long time after her ulcers cleared). We did thunderbrooks feeds and supplements - they def helped so hopefully your feed and supplements continue to help him.
