Looking to buy my next towing vehicle

I know its a really long shot but does anyone have either a Vauxhall Insignia SRI NAV or a Vauxhall Antara that they tow with? I could really do with a review pretty please.

I'm looking at changing my current towing vehicle (Insignia Cdti SE)and would like a 2L car with a 160 +bhp.
I will have around 7.5K to play with and want something that has ideally done relatively low mileage for the year, either a diesel or automatic, not bothered which.
I saw a beauty the other day but I'm not convinced about the seller :( TIA

Yes I'm not sure what the max towing weight is on them. The insignia I have now is 1650kg. I know the Insignia SRI NAV pictured is around 1800kg I think I saw.

I love the look of them and know they're a decent car for fuel economy too.

There’s a good number of economical estate type cars with a 2t tow limit about. That will give you a lot more flexibility if you need to upgrade your trailer at a later date.

The much touted (on here) Skoda Octavia 4x4 estate is a good tough one. Our 2015 plate Octavia Scout 4x4 is a brilliant tower and easily does 55+mpg on a non towing motorway run. You do need to check the exact model though, as some have less than a 2t tow limit.

Beloved by vets and taxi drivers as they are so tough and reliable… Great to drive, not boring.

They are a nice looking car. I towed BB with my vectra a few times it was 1.9 sri
