Hi all,
I'm looking to start doing equine photography/cinematography but currently don't have the equipment to do so. So, I'm looking to edit some photos of yours for free just to practice with and experiment to. I'm not going to post these on social media. I'll pm you the results or can email!

So if you're happy with this please send your horsey pics below or pm them ? these may take a few days due to school but we shall see!

Which course are you doing? One of the rules of professional photography is get it right first time. This saves you hours of editing. Hope you enjoy it.

Sometimes you just can't get the shot you want, like a building in a city when you can't put enough distance between it and you because of other buildings around, and the perspective in the photo isn't what you want; so you correct the perspective afterwards.

Or there are people or cars going past all the time, so you take several shots and combine them to remove the people or cars.

Or there are phone or electric lines...

Or ... any number of reasons.

And then there are people who shoot in "raw" mode (also called "DNs" or "digital negatives", although they are more like "digital positives") and do a load of post-processing. If you've got dozens or hundreds of DNs from a single shoot, with consistent lighting conditions, you can do the processing by eye on a small subset of images to find out what parameters suit them, and then tell the software to apply the same parameters to all the rest.

Yes I know been doing photography for years but it's the best advice I can give to save hours of work. It's also what a pro will tell you. Lots don't bother now their images aren't pinsharp and show photos are terrible they make me cringe but because they are taken at a show they still buy them.
