Looking to help with/exercise horses - Edinburgh - Any suggestions?

I have recently moved to Edinburgh from Brighton where I looked after a lovely mare for a family who's daughter had lost interest in her. I'm looking for a similar situation in Edinburgh but really struggling to find anything. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I could look, or do you know anyone?

I'm happy to horse share, look after and exercise horses or just help out on a yard. I am available weekends and in the summer can do an evening or two through the week. I have years of experience and am friendly, reliable and trustworthy.

Ideally the location of the horse/s needs to be accessible from Edinburgh by public transport, cycling, or walking.

Any help would be gratefully received.
 
I've tried Gumtree, Friday Ad, Horse Mart and loads of others. No luck so far, keeping my fingers crossed! It's so odd not spending my weekends with the horse I used to look after, I miss her so much!

Are you on Facebook? There is a group on there called Horsey Stuff for Sale in Edinburgh and the Lothians might be worth putting a post on there and see if you get a response.

Try helping at RDA. The Drum (Gilmerton) aren't looking but Ravelrig (in Balerno, on 44bus route) and other are. Great way to get into the horse scene. Most people in this area have been found by word of mouth, although I did find mine through gumtree.
