mine is in my signature - i do have some showing pics too. he's retired now though so i'm on the hunt for a new Welsh D - just trying to find something decent at the moment - wrong time of year really.

See my sig. If you can cope with stroppy and bags of character then you will love them!
oh whoops don't have a sig on here its the other forum. Goes off to look for pics.

Here's Delilah, not a showing pic though sorry

ETA She is not long backed but I will start some small clear rounds and low level trec and pleasure rides with her next year. Lots of everything

This is mine. He's a 15.2hh 6yo. Did a bit of BSJA over the past year, BN and a few Discovery's. But not renewed his BSJA reg because my other horse does that mainly so didn't get him out to enough to make it worthwhile. He mainly does RC SJ, unaffiliated ODE's and M&M ridden and WHP. He did his first BE Intro in September where he was clear XC (see photo below - was the first fence so a bit dodgy!)

Next year he'll do more showing and more eventing.

They do make such fun horses and can do anything. But they are renowned for being stroppy - mine is no different! He can be a bolshy b*stard occassionally but he has the biggest character Ive ever seen in a horse, he's like a person. And he's the only horse to make me giggle all the time when riding him!

Yes love mine to bits for his character and strong temperament! He is the most stubborn awkward and cantankerous little so and so I have ever known but he has taught me loads and I love him dearly...would not swap him for the world now that I know how to 'deal' with his little paddy's!

I used to have a sec B and have now got two sec D's and I would not be without them. I have a 3yr and a 15yr and they are both naughty and loveable at the same time!! And very intelligent as I show both of them but the 15yr caught on that as long as he is standing still in the ring he can get away with nipping me with out getting told off...

Also I have used this link when looking up the breeding of my two www.welshcobs.info

This is mine and I do a fair amount of showing with him. We've gotten a lot more into dressage the last half of this year and his mane has been pulled for plaiting so I've no idea if it will be long enough to show him again next year- he might have to have a career change!!

(no idea what my wrists are doing in pic!)

I've got a 16hh section D, I think he is stunning, but as he's so big and not your typical section D I don't show him. He is full of character, can be bolshy, but in general can turn his hoof to anything.

I've got 2:

Rosie 14yrs old. Not your typical Welsh D. Very lightweight and I clip her feathers off, strip tail and mane so doesn't look anything like one.

She's not at all bolshy or stroppy, just sensitive and very spooky.

She's 14.3hh and we do PN Eventing, have showjumped upto Newcomers, she hunts anywhere, and does a reasonable dressage test:

New girl is Lilly aged 2. Better stamp of Welsh Cob. Seems to be a very good doer! Very friendly, eager, does loads of rushing about. Am going to show her in hand as much as possible to get her used to everything. She's about 14.1hh now.
