Hi, just thought I'd spread the word!

Housemate is moving out end of Feb and I'm looking for a friend for Archie.

Would prefer a bitch, 6 months or older, cocker size (he's a big cocker) or smaller and something not completely insane!

I work from home and on the days I don't Archie goes to my parents - live in a big 4 bed house with garden and the dog will want for nothing....

If you know of anything that needs a home, please PM me.

I know, she's even prettier when you meet her too, pics don't really do her justice. We have Patch at the who is just as easy, really baffled why either of them have been in rescue so long!
 
Sorry we only rehome to local area (very small rescue so don't resources to do follow up checks unless within easy distance) but where abouts are you cos I have alot of contacts so I'm sure could find you something suitable. ;)

Thanks Cobgirlie, I'm based in Hampshire....want to get the right dog so not rushing anyway! My ideal would be a chocolate or golden cocker bitch a similar build to my boy:

(prefer the chunkier types to the american show types!)

So maybe it's best to hold out really :D
 
I'd ring round the cocker rescues, get yourself known, chat to them and tell them what you are looking for. They'll keep you in mind and I'll guarantee something will turn up at some point, as you are in no rush (what a refreshing change..so used to people wanting things NOW!!!) you can take your time to get to know the rescues and more importantly them know you.
