A friend has just rung me as she is on the Nix Hill (Alfreton) Industrial Estate and two loose ponies have just appeared! She is on Whimsey Way.
Both unshod and unrugged, both wearing nylon headcollars, look well cared for, one is either liver chestnut or bay with a wide white blaze, the other is either dark bay or roany with a triangular white blaze which stops above its nose.
Near the Kaba unit on some rough ground - they are being held onto.
If you have any idea who they could belong to, please let them know the police are on their way, and they are being held to prevent them getting onto any more major roads.
