Had an experiment with my youngster to see if she preferred a fixed ring snaffle to her loose ring one. She went exactly the same, no heavier or lighter. She goes sweetly in both, comes back during fast work etc. So if you had the choice, which would you have her in? Someone said fixed may make them have a tendency to lean on the hand, and a loose gives more movement in the mouth and therefore softer overall. Anyone know of anything like this?
