Can you use this bit for BE dressage? There are only two joints in the mouth piece compared to the standard Waterford.

Do you mean a bit that looks like a french link but has a waterford bobble as the link.

Shires are confused, bless them - that is not a Waterford! It's basically a french-link but along the lines of a peanut joint/lozenge. I'm sure it will be dressage legal, although I'd want to see the bit before advocating it's use; i.e. the 'bobble' is presumably on a plate & you'd want to know what angle that plate was on (think 'dr bristol') - I would guess that it's on the same angle as a french-link & in which case, it should be fairly mild where of course the Waterford is NOT mild.
