Wish i had managed to get some pictures as i am always so amazed at how neat his jump is! He really tucks his legs up in front!

Is loose schooling over jumps something you should do occasionally or would it be something i could do with him every couple of weeks?

Think it will help him to work things out for himself a little more as he is still quite young... so will it benefit me a lot when i jump him?

I think it is the best way for a youngster to learn to jump, without the hinderance of a rider/riders weight. We always started our youngsters this way. Depends on how old he is, but should not hurt him to be loose jumped every couple of weeks, if he is 4yrs +. I dont think it is a good idea to do much jumping before then as they are still developing.
