So do the new rules mean that if you passed your car test after 1997 you cannot drive any lorry at all without taking a test?

I passed my trailer test and only tow a trailer, but I was just interested for future reference.

I think it is a good idea really to have to do a test to tow a trailer/drive a lorry, as there are so many people who don't drive them properly (especially when carrying horses). It's all just so expensive though!!

You will be able to drive one of the small 3.5 ton ones
hence they are very popular and expensive!!!!!
