Lorries

Does anyone have any tips or ideas for my mare. When hacking she is terrified of lorries! she is better with company but when on her own she just spins as they go past her

! i would love some tips to stop this as i am always avioding the slightly bigger roads incase we come across a lorry! <font color="purple"> </font>

Any one with a horse lorry you can borrow????

It may be an idea to teech her to walk past without the engine on and then progress from there. I park mine in the school when im working the youngsters.

I don't mean to be rude but do you think she si picking up on you being tense if a lorry comes past, I only ask as we have one in our yard that does this, we have got him over it by getting someone else to ride him a few times and now his normal rider sings an gives him the reins and he is not too bad.

Thanks . She is fine with horseboxes just delivery lorries etc . I have had a couple of my friends hack her past and my mum and she still does it!

Only other suggestion is put her to graze in a field by a road and see if that helps.
