lorry hire

Hi, does anyone know of someone/ a company who is able to hire out a horse lorry for the length of a month in july. Must be self drive and only needs to accomodate 2/3 horses. Private hire/arrangements welcome. Northern Ireland co.down. help would be greatly appreciated!!

EQUI-TREC will hire a 3 horse Endevour horse box for £1040 for a month (inc vat and insurance) they have various depots in england , you need to e-mail them to see if you can take one over to N.I. and add on cost of 2 x ferry trips (maybe they have a N.I. agent.)

ooooops made a big bo bo that is a weekly bill, at over 4k a month buy a cheap box then sell it on.

on F/BK horseboxes /trailers/carraiges/ carts there are over a dozen at 5k or less

Thanks! We just don't use it enough to buy one, maybe only a few trips out in the summer. A private arrangement would be ideal, even on a daily basis if the owner is not using it on arranged dates etc.

put an add out for 5+ you to share buying one at 1k each ( 6k total price) have a calender where you book dates have a written agreement to share insurance,recovery,servicing,and MOT. probably totals less than 6k a year, so use of box for 1k a year(£20 a week) when someone wants out you should be able to find someone to buy their share ,maybe 3 all going to the same show keeps diesel money down etc.

Someone in Kildare I think it was has recently advertised on Facebook but I think it's £130 a day or around there so indeed would be £4 + k a month
