Lorry posts.....

Nope, when we travel in my friends lrry she does that too

Ours is warmed up, switched off while we load, then starts and moves off nicely.

I do that - but for one boy who can be tricky I've also been known to start up, drive round until the engine is beginning to get warm then come back and switch off to load and then restart.

The others all load whether the lorry's running or not.

(and after this I pray she starts tomorrow!)

Ahh, my lorry doesn't have air brakes either, so I don't have that problem. I've lost my keys somewhere and really should start the box as it hasn't moved in 2 months.

I start mine when I get to the yard, and lock the cab door with the engine running (Volvos have seperate door and ignition keys) for about 1/2 hour. I won't load with the engine running as I think that is unfair on Charlie.
