lorry price.. unreasonable? and question reg defra and paddocks

Anyone have a wide experience on lorrys pm me as I need to see what people think of the price I have it advertised at..(I don't want to waver any advertising rules on here lol)

Also...

Bit of a talk with my uncle, I won't go into it too much I'm sure all u lovelys don't need to know about my family politics, let's just say I had to bite my lip and next time I will let him know what I'm thinking! Anyway... he came up with some 'idea' that it is illegal to let a horse poach a field and if defra came round I would be in BIG trouble...(f*@&ing reason I do have poached fields is because of him being a total and utter twonk and not letting me have more grazing..) he then continued to tell me that horse should be kept in all winter and exercised in an arena (once again it is because of him I have a half built one as he has now decided I am not allowed it where it was being built) so really I am now seething as I put everything into my horses... to put the finishing icing on the cake he followed on to advise me that I ought to sell my tb and sec a as they won't make any money for me and are pretty useless!!

Oh and he backed into my muck bucket.. which I found myself sniggering about, but that was my fault as it had been emptied and in all honesty had moved maybe a couple of inches.

Just a little background info for u as well he's been partner on the farm for about 15 years.. my dad has run the farm and managed to buy it and build it up to 2000 acres since he was 14 when he was separated from his family and sent to help his grandad run it. My dad is now 63, so really because we have a few extra sheds my uncles nose is put out of joint... I am quite close to physically putting it put of joint for him!!

Sorry for the rambling rant but mum and dad are on holidays and my bf is yet to come over this evening. Venting on here was my only option Xx

Bloody familys fighting and argueing over money, and control you have my sympthy it's not funny.... how people can be so selfish, greedy and dog in a manger Grr!!! been there got the tee shirt.... Lorry price my guess is compare to simalar in H&H horse deals ect and watch some on ebay see if they sell and how much
 
If the farm is claiming 'single farm payment' you are not allowed to poach fields, it is in one of the books (soil protection??) you would need to check the extent permitted but he is correct and it could affect the payment to the farm although i doubt you would be poaching it that much? The farm HAS to have the books so there should be one somewhere so you can check.
 
It's annoying when families are involved.
If he is only a partner and your dad owns the rest can't you persuade your dad to get the arena finished and let you use more fields.
 
Have you got any empty cattle sheds?

That's where I keep my herd and they have a corral outside, no mucking out and they are very happy (well apart from when one attempts a coup to take over the herd)

I get to poach one paddock which is not included on our points for the single farm payment, so he may be technically correct
