If the learner is insured with the insurance company and is driving the wagon, does the full licence holder sitting with you also need to be insured to drive that wagon?

Thanks, I believe friends mother can drive category C so will cover me to drive my lorry on days where my dad can't drive me. I'm planning to learn to drive it this summer, but waiting to book my theory til I know I'll be booking the lessons so I don't waste valuable learning time.I KNOW the answer
Only those driving a vehicle are legally required to be insured for it
Supervising drivers are not legally required to be insured - unless they actually drive it
One more thing which might be relevant in this case .... only supervising LGV drivers who passed the relevant DSA LGV test can supervise - pre 1997 C1 holders cannot use that to supervise a LGV C1 learner if that is all they have in the LGV categories
