Lorry question?

When we bought my lorry, the guy put a radio and speakers in but they don't work. Is there anywhere we can take the lorry to get a cd player/radio and speakers put in in cab and living? We were thinking of taking it to halfords but not sure if they do lorries!

There very easy to fit yourself....If the one installed isn't working, it's probably just a fuse, or not wired in properly.

Be carefull though. You don't want the stereo drawing from the battery while it sits idle. Even just the memory on a radio will draw power, and as most lorries sit idle for weeks at a time in could cause problems

We have an immobiliser on the lorry so would this prevent the battery being drained? Will get my dad to have a look at fitting one then, cos i'm using at technical stuff!!

You are probably best off finding an auto electrcian most will work on lorries and may even come out to you.

Be careful wiring yourself as I set fire to one in the lorry!

Phone your local hlafords and ask. Or have a look in the yellow pages/local paper for an auto electrcian.

Ok, thanks, will definately phone halfords, cos I know they will fit it into a car, but wasn't sure about a 7.5tonne lorry!!!
